Faceless YouTube channels — making videos without a camera or showing your face — are now within everyone's reach thanks to AI. Understand the whole process in 6 steps.
Step 1: Topic and script (from AI)
First pick a niche: facts, stories, motivation, or tech tips. Then have an AI chatbot write the script — for example: "Write a 5-minute video script about 'strange ocean facts' with a strong hook." Read the script and fix it in your own words.
Step 2: Voice-over (AI voice)
Put the script into an AI voice tool (ElevenLabs free tier, or CapCut's text-to-speech). Pick a good voice and keep the speed normal. If your own voice is good, record it yourself — a real voice always sounds better.
Step 3: Visuals (video or images)
Two paths: create clips with AI video apps (Pika, Hailuo), or get clips from free stock sites (Pexels, Pixabay) — both free and copyright-safe. Match the visuals to the voice-over.
Step 4: Editing (join in CapCut)
Arrange clips in order in CapCut, turn on auto-captions (people watch without sound too), and add light background music. The first 3 seconds must have a hook — otherwise the viewer leaves.
Step 5: Thumbnail and title
The thumbnail is your video's "shop sign". Big text (3–4 words), bold colors, one clear image. Keep curiosity in the title: "These 5 facts will shock you".
Step 6: Upload and consistency
2–3 videos a week for at least 3 months — that's the real secret. The first 20 videos will get few views; don't panic. YouTube monetization needs 1,000 subscribers + 4,000 watch hours.
An important point
The era of low-quality, purely AI-made videos is ending — YouTube now promotes videos with real value. Make AI your tool, but do the hard work yourself.
